CITB SSSTS Site Supervisor

The Site Supervisors’ Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) is a popular course for those who are undertaking a supervisory role within a construction company. The SSSTS course is relatively short but provides these individuals with the knowledge they need to effectively handle the health and safety of their chosen workplace. As the head of a team of construction workers, you will be looked to as the person to approach if your employees need to raise any concerns about their environment. You need to be fully informed about all aspects of staff safety, regardless of the size of your team. Candidates undertaking the SSSTS training will gain a well-rounded understanding of the role they play within their industry and the importance of good management.

Who Should Attend

This course is designed for those who have, or are about to acquire, supervisory responsibilities. It provides supervisors with an understanding of health, safety, welfare and environmental issues, as well as their legal responsibilities relevant to their work activities.

The SSSTS course is endorsed by the United Kingdom Contractors Group as the standard training for all supervisors working on UKCG sites.
