Course summary:
This course is designed for practising Electricians and Electrical Contractors to ensure that they are conversant with the Application of the BS 7671: 2008, content and format.

Course content:
The course will cover all the relevant changes which apply to the Application of the BS 7671: 2008, content and format. A City and Guilds on-line examination follows at the end of this course.

Assessment procedure:
On completing the course the student will sit the City & Guilds 2382 on-line multiple choice examination.

Entry requirements:
This two evening course is designed for practising Electricians and Electrical Contractors who have gained the full City & Guilds 2381 Wiring Regulations Certificate since 2001.

Qualifications achieved:
Certificate in the Requirements for Electrical Installations (BS 7671 2008)

Many part-time students at South Tyneside College do not have to pay for their course. We may also be able to help you with some of the extra costs associated with college, eg travel, childcare, equipment, books etc. In addition, depending on the course and the number of hours per week you study, you may be eligible for an Adult Learners' Grant.
