Description of the Course
The National Inspection Council for Electrical Installations recognizes the Certificate as the requirements for qualifying managers and designers.
Course content
This course is designed to provide an understanding in the design process, selection of materials, accessories, commissioning and maintenance aspects of electrical installations in domestic, commercial and industrial buildings. It suitable for advanced level, experienced electricians in senior or contract management positions within their organisations.
Assessment

· 15 hour Project
· 3 hour written examination

Those with responsibility for the quality of the design, specification, installation, inspection and testing processes.
Entry requirements
Candidates should already hold the City & Guilds 2380 Certificate and the City & Guilds 2391 Testing, Inspection Certificate of Electrical Installations.
