A practical assessment (102) of up to 2 hours duration, one to one with a qualified assessor. Suitable for: It is aimed at practising electricians who have not carried out inspection and testing since qualifying or who require some update training before going on to achieve the City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations (2391-10). It is also suitable for those with limited experience of inspection and testing of electrical installations, such as those entering the industry from other engineering disciplines working in allied trades

This qualification has been developed in conjunction with the electrical industry (including the NICEIC and ECA) in order to meet the needs of the industry to provide candidates with an introduction in how to inspect and test (conduct the initial verification) of electrical installations.

It is aimed at practising electricians who have not carried out inspection and testing since qualifying or who require some update training before going on to achieve the City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations (2391-10). It is also suitable for those with limited experience of inspection and testing of electrical installations, such as those – entering the industry from other engineering disciplines – working in allied trades.


GOLA online Test
• A 90 minute, GOLA online test (101), multiple-choice assessment of 50 questions (closed book).

Candidates who successfully complete both assessments in the qualification will receive a full certificate.
