Course review:
The City & Guilds 2392-10 – Fundamental Inspection, Testing & Initial Verification training course is aimed at personnel with limited experience of inspection and testing of electrical installations. The training course will prepare candidates who wish to go on to achieve the City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate 2391-10. The course is also suitable for those personnel involved in inspection and testing of their own work, such as those personnel carrying out work in domestic installations under Part P of the Building Regulations.
The City & Guilds 2392-10 – Fundamental Inspection, Testing & Initial Verification qualification is designed to the requirements of the 17th Edition of the Wiring Regulations (BS7671:2008) and is restricted to initial verification processes only.
The full City & Guilds 2392-10 – Fundamental Inspection, Testing & Initial Verification qualification is achieved following successful completion of both a theory (closed book) multiple-choice on-line examination of one hour and forty minutes duration and a two hour practical assessment.

- Requirements of the Electricity at Work Regulations.
- Visual inspection for new work.
- Completion of an Electrical Installation Certificate, Minor Electrical Installation Works Certificate, Schedule of Inspection and a Schedule of Test Results.
