Course programme
- 2391-52 is a level 3 qualification to train you both in the practical and theory covering initial verification and certification of installations, including 3 phase, and to train you the in ‘Principles, practices and legislation for the periodic inspection, testing and condition reporting of electrical installations.’
Alot of the course syllabus is repeated within both courses, so we have taken the unique step of combining both courses over 5 days, resulting in both qualifications being achieved. Since we have started running this format, is has given very successful results with the candidates.
City and Guilds Certification is achieved on successful completion of both the practical assessment and written examinations.
A 5 day course for a student possessing knowledge of the wiring regulations and with minimal knowledge of inspection and testing, We strongly recommend City and Guilds 2382 is achieved prior to sitting this course, though this is NOT an entry requirement.
To further support this course, we offer a 1 day practical workshop available to candidates who have completed the course and require further ‘hands on’ practical experience prior to their practical examination. Most students who take this option, elect to complete this, the day before their practical assessments.
The course costs include examination entry fees, a buffet lunch and refreshments throughout the day.
