WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?
This is an appropriate qualification for the associate teacher role. It can be assessed at either level 3 (description / application) or level 4 (analysis). This is a four unit qualification which carries 24 credits, the first of which is carried forward from PTLLS.

WHAT WILL I STUDY?
The units are as follows:

1 - PTLLS
2 - Planning and enabling learning
3 - Principles and practice assessments
4 - Optional e.g. Equality and Diversity

WHAT ARE MY COMMITMENTS?
The course is assessed through both theoretical and practical activities including 120 contact and 120 non-contact hours over a 26 week period.

Classes are held on Tuesday evenings from 6 - 9pm.

Candidates must be assessed for 3 hours of their 30 hours of teaching practice.

WHAT WILL I ACHIEVE?
On successful achievement you will gain a Certificate in Teaching in the Lifelong Sector (CTLLS)

3t528-09 Course fees 0 16-18 year olds, 827(827) 19 years and over
