About this course

All applicants must have successfully achieved the Diploma for IT Practitioners at Level 2 or an equivalent qualification, or relevant industrial experience. Applicants should also have an appropriate standard of literacy and numeracy. All students will be expected to undertake initial diagnostic tests at level 2 in English, Maths and IT.

City & Guilds 7266 Advanced Diploma for IT Professionals (ICT Systems Support Level 3) Key/Basic Skills Numeracy and Literacy Level 2

Course Content:
One compulsory module: Customer Support Provision plus 5 other modules as follows: 1.Install and configure ICT equipment and operating systems 2.ICT systems monitoring and operation 3.Install, configure and test ICT networks 4.Install, configure and upgrade ICT software 5.Maintain ICT equipment and systems The units will be internally assessed through portfolio evidence and externally moderated. You will study key/basic skills in literacy and numeracy at Level 2/3. Students will also attend enrichment activities and tutorials.

Progression:
Successful students at level 3 can progress to relevant HE programmes or to employment at an appropriate level.
