City & Guilds Award - Unlined Skirt Level 1

For beginners wishing to make an unlined skirt.

To be able to select a pattern, cut fabric and make a simple unlined skirt.

Instructions on using a sewing machine.

Advice on selecting a pattern and making up a skirt with appropriate samples.

There will be some additional costs incurred during the course. Students will need to purchase pattern, fabric and haberdashery. Advice on pattern and fabric selection will be discussed at the first lesson.

Please bring your sewing kit - to include pins, hand needles, thread, scissors, tape measure etc.

Upon successful completion students will be awarded a City & Guilds Award - Unlined Skirt Level 1. Samples and the finished garment along with a portfolio will be assessed by an External Verifier from City & Guilds.

Advice and guidance on further learning opportunities will be given during the course.
