City & Guilds NVQ Levels 3 in Beauty Therapy

Course content:
Following successful completion of NVQ level 2 in Beauty Therapy you can acquire the knowledge and skills to practise a full range of facial and body treatments, both electrical and manual, and including media make-up and fashion or photographic make-up plus aspects of salon management.
It is also possible to gain additional qualifications in epilation and nail technology.

BT17 Provide Head & Body massage

BT18 Improve body conditions using electro-therapy

BT19 Improve face & skin conditions using electro-therapy

BT26 Enhance appearance of using cosmetic camouflage

BT27 Design & create images for fashion & photographic make-up

Additional Units

BT21 Provide massage using pre-blended aromatherapy oils

BT31 Provide self tanning treatments
VTCT Nail technology

Optional Unit
VTCT Epilation

Assessment procedure:
Assessment covers both the practical aspects of the units and their underpinning theoretical knowledge.
Candidates will be entered for: City & Guilds Beauty Therapy NVQ Level 3
