Course Details

The Internet is now an every day essential business tool which is why the Certified Internet Web Associate Foundations course (CIW v5) is so imperative.

The CIW v5 Foundations course aims to provide you with a foundation in each facet of web and internet technology. You will gain a complete working comprehension of internet tools such as File Transfer Protocol (FTP), email and web browsers. The CIW v5 course will also teach you core infrastructure networking and how to write your own web pages in Hypertext Markup Language (HTML).

On completion of your course you will have the opportunity to become a CIW Associate. The CIW Associate status is well recognised by employers and will reinforce that you have the ability to handle web and interned-based technologies.

Don't worry about having a lack of subject knowledge either as none is required prior to starting the course. However, by the end of the course you will have mastered specialist web skills that will be valuable to any employer. Successful completion of the CIW v5 Foundation course could see you earning up to £40,000 a year and possibly more.

Employers prefer CIW trained candidates as they know the training has been aimed at skills for specific job functions in the real world.
The technologies are constantly changing in the IT industry and the CIW course maintains its course content to reflect that. Therefore, potential employees always know you have received the very latest software and applications training.
The CIW Certification is now recognised as the benchmark internet certification by the media, corporations, commercial learning centres and academic institutions. This is not just limited to the UK as it's also recognised in the USA, Asia, Africa, mainland Europe and the Middle East.
