The CJIA course covers Sections 119, a,b and c and also Section 120. Then moves into the assessment for removals procedure parts 1 and 2, dynamic risk assessment. We then test delegates knowledge on the law, through a multi choice question paper and a video incident. This then helps cover them so they know they know the powers in a pressure situation, the trust can be more confident that their staff are fully versed in the powers. Suitable for: NHS Staff (CJIA Version) and Non NHS Staff involved in ejecting troublemakers/tresspassers from any type of premises.

Course programme
Course review:
The CJIA Courses will follow the best practise set down by NHS Protect, there will be a 3 day Authorised Officer (AO) Course and a 2 Day Appropriate Staff (AS) Course. We can do condensed versions of both courses which will NOT include a session on Mental Health Awareness.
We will also be offering a CJIA Refresher Course which can also be linked into a Conflict Resolution Training Refresher (again to the NHS Protect National Syllabus). However we can thread into it more on staff safety involved in the ejection of troublemakers.
For all the CJIA Courses we will also be able to add other complimentary courses such as;
Conflict Resolution Training and Refreshers
Personal Safety Training
Physical Skills - Escort - Restraint - Breakaway - Handcuffing
First Aid (including Positional Asphyxia)
Pocket Notebook Skills &
Witness Statements
Court Presentation Skills
For Non NHS venues (OR NHS Venues not able to use the CJIA Powers) we will offer courses using the best practise from the CJIA Powers but ejecting under Civil Powers of Tresspass and Breach of the Peace.
In addition to training in the legislation around Common Law we will also discuss the practicalities and Dynamic Risk Assessments etc. We can also add the full range if complimentary courses as well, from Pocket Notebook Skills to Conflict Resolution Training.
