Course Description
Camera Techniques follows on from the Introduction to Black and White Photography. This course is an SQA Higher module and is part classroom based although mostly practical. It takes a look at the theory of light, and how cameras work in combination with photo projects and darkroom techniques. This course would be suitable for students who may wish to pursue a specialist vocational course in photography as well as hobbyists with a keen interest in photography. This course covers: Light; Exposure; Composition; How a camera works; different types of camera; Pinhole photography and Black and White Developing and Printing.

Preferred Entry Requirements
No formal entry requirements although completion of the Introduction to Photography would be recommended.
