Level 2 Employer premises 20 weeks

This programme is suitable for individuals occupying a supervised cleaning role. It enables you to learn whilst at work and will require your practical performance to be assessed in the workplace.
Mandatory units cover health and safety and service delivery while optional units are based around pathways relevant to the particular working environment including building interiors, highways and land, carpets, food premises, passenger transport vehicles, windows and caretaking. Other elective units cover areas such as team work, customer relations, managing resources and effective communication.

Mandatory units:
· Ensure your own actions reduce risks to Health & Safety
· Promote and maintain service delivery
Optional units:
· Support the work of a team
· Develop and maintain positive working relationships with customers
· Control the use of resources
· Clean toilets and washrooms manually
· Clean and protect floors
· Clean carpet and soft furnishings
· Clean surfaces up to a maximum height of 4 meters
