About this Course
This part time qualification provides further development of your career in a Clinical Health role such as senior healthcare assistant within a hospital or in a community clinical environment such as a GP practice or Health Centre.
You should be committed and have the enthusiasm to work in this sector. You should be able to communicate well with a variety of people from different ages and backgrounds, and be able to follow instructions.

Mandatory modules include:

• Causes and spread of infection
• Cleaning, decontamination and waste management Option modules include:
• Recording blood pressure
• Assisting a health professional during clinical procedures
• Taking venous blood samples
