Sports clinical musculoskeletal spinal taping includes postural correction, unloading pelvis and spinal structures with muscle imbalance corrections and motor control strategies. Taping is often under estimated as an effective adjunct in the management of sports musculoskeletal problems. This course examines the scientific evidence of taping, the clinical rationale and clinical reasoning strategies including assessment and reassessment. Sports spinal clinical case histories will discuss the clinical application of taping when used for postural fault corrections; unloading musculoskeletal structures, muscle imbalances and motor control for spinal and pelvic dysfunctions.
