CMI Level 2 Certificate in Team Leading

Course summary:
These qualifications are designed for team leaders, to support the development of their skills in leading a team, making sure that the team†s work achieves organisational objectives, and contributing to planning, problem solving and decision making.

Course content:
To achieve the Level 2 Certificate in Team Leading you need to complete the following three units:

Unit 2001 Personal development as a team leader
Unit 2002 Team communications
Unit 2003 Team performance


Qualifications achieved:
CMI Level 2 Certificate in Team Leading

Progression opportunities:
The qualifications provide opportunities for progression to other qualifications at the same or higher levels,e.g CMI Level 3 Diploma in First Line Management which could also be work-based or more academically structured. The qualifications also support learners in meeting the requirements for work and/or employment within all areas of management and leadership at this level.

Many part-time students at South Tyneside College do not have to pay for their course. We may also be able to help you with some of the extra costs associated with college, eg travel, childcare, equipment, books etc. In addition, depending on the course and the number of hours a week you study, you may be eligible for an Adult Learners†Grant.
