CMI Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership Level 7

This course offers a blended learning approach with nine units delivered over 11 monthly workshops, online tutor support and tutorials. The course is carefully linked to the requirements of an NQF higher level masters degree such as an MBA. It is also linked to the needs of chartered manager status. This qualification has a credit rating of up to 120 CATS points at certain universities (please discuss this with the tutor).
Your capability will be enhanced through the application and knowledge of management techniques, principles, theories and models. You will study the individual and interactive aspects of the following units:
This course approach assumes full knowledge, understanding, skill and competence in the areas covered at the Level 5 programme delivered by the College.
Students will be able to put the theory into practice when they get the opportunity to run a business at a strategic level. This will be assessed during a practical business simulation where a full outline of these modules is available from the tutor. Individual units may be studied as standalone courses to complete a Level 7 Award in Strategic Management and Leadership – such as Strategic Marketing or Strategic Finance. Course assessment will take place via assignments, projects or reports produced in some of the modules.
This course is designed for the practising manager or graduate. Potential candidates will attend a suitability interview. A written offer of a course place may then follow. You will need to be able to write academic or management reports and/or be in a strategic position in your organisation to benefit from this fast-paced approach.
