This five day introduction to the theory and skills of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is designed to provide personal experience of the effective use of CBT and uses the SCOTACS Glasgow GATES model.

This course teaches Cognitive Behavioural tools and techniques to improve guidance and communcation skills for use in both a professional and a personal environment. The programme is particularly useful as a toolkit for people in focused work with clients to facilitate changes in thinking, feelings and behaviour.

This course enables workers to introduce the tools of CBT appropriately.
