What will you be learning?
This course is designed specifically for mature students who may have been out of education for many years; it provides the necessary skills to succeed in higher education and can lead to careers such as teaching, social work, ecology, criminology, police and other public services, media, psychology, etc.

You will select two options from biology, social sciences, history/politics, English literature or environmental studies, as well as core subjects such as I.T., time management, research, presentations etc. You will be expected to undertake at least 10 hours of home study each week.

You will be assessed by coursework and presentations.

After successful completion of the course, you can progress onto higher education.
