What can I do after this course?
Any degree improves employment prospects. Most employers realise that the achievement of a degree signifies the ability to work at a high level of independence and application. A social science degree is particularly useful for those people who wish to work in areas where society interacts with individuals and where a knowledge of social policy is required. Past students have gone on to work in local government, community development, housing departments, youth justice, teaching, post graduate research, care work, armed forces, police and youth and community work, all of which are areas informed by a knowledge of social science
