Communication is an important core skill recognised by employers in a range of occupations and is an important foundation for study in many areas. The study of communication includes consideration of appropriate approaches to communicating information and ideas, recognition of the best medium of communication in particular contexts and improvement of written and oral/aural skills.

Communication units are offered at the following levels:

SCQF Level 4
Day-time and open learning.

SCQF Level 5
Day-time and open learning. Online in preparation

SCQF Level 6
Day-time and open learning. Online in preparation

Higher National Units
Communication: Analysing and Presenting Complex Communication
Communication: Practical Skills (day-time)

Higher English
Available during the day and as an evening class

Duration of the Course
