The course standards have been set down by industry in conjunction with the Engineering Equipment and Material Users Association (EEMUA) and NET. These organisations have co-operated to produce a National training and certification scheme for personnel who wish to work for companies installing and maintaining electrical equipment in potentially explosive atmospheres. The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) support this development. JTL is the Awarding Body for Certification. Our centre and staff are recognised nationally and offer the industry standard of training and assessment. CompEx is a training initiative, jointly developed by the Engineering Equipment and Materials Users association (EEMUA) and engineering training provider JTL. The scheme is accredited by JTL and supported by the Health and safety Executive (HSE).
