Working safely in the presence of combustible dust

CompEx Ex05-Ex06 is a 3-day course specifically designed to provide underpinning knowledge and practical assessment of electrical and mechanical personnel who undertake the physical installation and assembly of new ‘EX’ equipment and/or who perform preventative maintenance and inspection on previously installed equipment in potentially explosive atmospheres due to dust.

Staff attending this course often work in potentially explosive environments such as:

On and off-shore oil and gas installations
Petrochemical plants
Distilleries
Petrol forecourt environments
Mills and other dust generating environments

Delegates should be able to make off steel wire armoured cable glands when attending modules EX 05-06 as well as being able to carry out electrical testing for continuity, insulation resistance and polarity.
