Aim This 1 year course enables you to develop your skills, knowledge and understanding in the exciting field of complementary therapies. Business studies are an important element of the course giving you an insight into running a business and the legislation involved.
Content Although most of your time will be spent working in a salon environment you will be expected to review/update course material, undertake appropriate reading/research and homework tasks, and complete practical case studies.

Topics studied on this course include:
· Aromatherapy and reflexology
· Advanced massage
· Body massage
· Anatomy/physiology
· Science
· Reception and customer service duties.

You will follow the IIHHT (International Institute of Health and Holistic Therapies) syllabus and the qualification gained is the Holistic Therapy Diploma.

Assessment is continuous throughout the course using a mixture of practical, oral and written methods with an external test.
