This CompTIA Security+ course lasts 4 days and is designed to provide everything you need to know to achieve the CompTIA Security+ certification and pass the exam. The course covers the principles and practices which are fundamental to IT security in today’s data-driven environment. Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites to attend this course, but we recommend having a good basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows systems and basic network components. Two years of networking experience is recommended, as is the CompTIA Network+ certification.

CompTIA Security+ Exam

The CompTIA Security+ exam covers the following areas:

The exam lasts 90 minutes and consists of up to 90 questions. Questions are either multiple choice or performance-based. The pass mark is 750 on a scale from 100-900.
