COMPUTER AIDED DESIGN (3D) LEVEL 3 C&G CERTIFICATE 4353 Entry Requirements
A C&G 2301 Part 2 or 4353-02 course or substantial previous experience using a CAD system would be an advantage.

Registration Requirements:
Registration with the City & Guilds awarding body is required by those who wish to obtain the qualification. You may register at the college during enrolment.
Description
This is a competence based scheme of nominal duration of 34 weeks but may be geared to individual requirements. This course is for those who have had previous experience in CAD and wish to develop further skills.
Course Content
- Drawings within a 3D environment
- Features of a solid model
- Features of a surface model
- Drawing plots in model and paper space
Where a course is aimed towards an assessment/examination, it is expected that all students will enter for the qualification.
Method of Assessment
Assessment includes two assignments and a multiple choice test which covers the knowledge base. The multiple choice test will be delivered online through the C&G Gola System.

Other publications are recommended but are not essential.
A memory stick is a good thing!
A log book covering all the objectives of the course will be provided to track progress.
