Do you want to become a software engineer, learn to write computer games, get entry into 2nd year BSc Games Software Development. The aim of the course is to lead to employment or further studies. If you wish to further your studies when you finish the course, then the HNC award, will allow Progression into various university computing degree courses; particularly Glasgow Caledonian University and the University of The West of Scotland. The course covers a variety of subjects such as: DarkBASIC Pro & Java Programming Languages, 3D Modelling & Animation & Game Project. The course includes event driven programming. Youll see how to create logic games, 2D games and 3D First Person Shooter games.

Two Higher Grades one of which should be mathematics (bands A to C) and 3 Standard Grades (bands 1 to 3) to include evidence of numeracy and communication skills, OR appropriate SQA modules or units. Candidates over 21 may be accepted with lower qualifications, depending on work experience.
