The programme is designed to give you the knowledge and skills necessary to progress in the fast growing Computer Systems Management environment, with a particular focus on Hewlett Packard technical platforms. We have carefully selected the modules that you will study to enable you to analyse user needs and then propose, implement and manage IT solutions in a business context. In the fi rst year you will study Commercial Systems Management, Professional IT, Software Development and Internet Technology. In the second year, you will further your knowledge of Commercial Systems Management and Professional IT and, in addition, you will complete modules on User Requirement Specifi cation, Object Oriented Modelling and Database Design and Management. In both years you will undertake Negotiated Work Based Learning. Progression Graduates of this highly practical course will be immediately effective as administrators and managers of IT technologies in business. Some
learners will continue their studies with a BSc.
