Computerised Accounts Level 1 Using SAGE

COMPUTERISED ACCOUNTS LEVEL 1 USING SAGE Entry Requirements
No formal entry requirements, although this qualification assumes that you will have a reasonable knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping.
Description
This 6 week course with an exam on the 7th week. It is aimed at those seeking a first qualification in the practical use of SAGE computerised accounts software applied to routine accounting tasks. You will be following the Level 1 Computerised Accounts syllabus of the Pitman's Examination Institute.
Course Content
- Add new accounts to Purchase and Sales Ledgers
- Nominal Ledger - create new accounts
- Process information in respect of the Sales Ledger - invoices, credit notes and receipts
- Process information in respect of the Purchase Ledger - invoices, credit notes and payments
- Calculate and reconcile all Batch Totals as required
- Print out copies of ledgers, balances and accounts as requested
Where a course is aimed towards an assessment/examination, it is expected that all students will enter for the qualification.
Method of Assessment
One hour examination on week 7.
