It looks at digital information systems from the users' perspective, seeing how these systems are designed and used, and the effects this has. The approach is both theoretical and practical and includes some programming.

About this course
No previous experience of computers is needed but you must make sure you understand what the course entails - it is quite different from basic IT courses. You must be studying either AS Mathematics or AS Physics alongside AS Computing. You must have the standard College entry requirements for AS level with GCSE Cs in Maths and English. Both male and female students follow this course.
