This course is particularly suited to students studying Mathematics, Electronics or Physics at advanced level. Although you are not expected to have outside access to a computer system compatible with the system at College, it is desirable. You will be expected to develop your practical skills through a combination of structured lessons, given during College time, and homework exercises.


Problem solving skills are an essential component of this practical based course as you develop an understanding of the main principles of systems analysis and design, methods of problem formulation and the planning of solutions using computers, and systematic methods of implementation, testing and documentation.
