Course content:
This course gives a basic introductory to the many uses of the Internet for those who have no or little experience.
By the end of the course you will have gained knowledge of how to perform the following internet tasks:
- Browsing
- Searching
- Shopping
- Security
- E-mail
- Messaging
- Communities
We will supply handouts and online materials

Course Structure:
Students will use PC's to practice online. Presentations will be made using interactive whiteboards and printed notes will be available. Class discussions will be held to help students grasp complex concepts.

Course resources:
All students have access to our fully equipped state of the art learning centre. This included free internet access.

Fees Info
When information is available you will notice 2 different fees stated for this course. The fee you pay is dependent on your status:
Fee 1: Standard fee;
Fee 2: Aged 60+ years fee
Students in receipt of an income-based benefit pay £20 per course per term.
You will need to bring proof of age and any benefits when you enrol.
You DO NOT have to pay a college registration fee for these courses, but you may have to pay for additional course materials.Materials costs:
There are no material costs.
