Entry requirements(typical offer) 240 UCAS points from at least two A2-levels (or equivalent) in any subjects.
You should also have five GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent) including mathematics and English.

About the course
As the commercial world becomes increasingly dependent on powerful computer environments, the demand for people who are able to create, support and manage such infrastructures is also increasing. Graduates are well-placed for a successful career in managing the computer service and technology infrastructure required to support a range of economic activities in the modern world.
What you will learn
On graduation you will have a good understanding of key environments such as Linux and Cisco enabling you to install operating systems and computer networks while optimising system performance for a particular purpose. Your knowledge of service management and technical architecture will allow you design and manage advanced computer installations. By selecting appropriate optional modules you will also learn to develop advanced web pages and become a competent programmer.
What you will study
You will study 120 credits at each level (360 credits in total over the course of your degree) . Most modules are worth 20 credits and run over one semester.

Professional recognition
Full exemption has been granted by the British Computer Society (BCS) accrediting the course as partially meeting the educational requirement for CEng/CSci registration. This is the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to a BSc (Hons) course by the BCS.
In the first year of this degree students complete two Cisco Networking Academy courses, ‘CCNA 1 Networking Basics’ and ‘CCNA 2 Routers and Routing Basics’ receiving a Cisco course completion certificate for each.
In the second year you have the option of selecting 'CCNA3 Network Architecture' and 'CCNA4 Wide Area Networks' and obtaining the Cisco certificates.
