Notes

  1. The course is a blend of both theory and practical. Delegates must bring their own PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) which should include safety helmet, overalls, work gloves, safety glasses and safety boots.
  2. As there is a measure of physical exertion in the afternoon session, it is the responsibility of the sponsoring company to ensure that their delegates are physically fit enough to undertake/ participate in the exercises
  3. The course provides training in the use of Breathing Apparatus (BA) but not First Aid. Candidates should attend the appropriate specialist training for first aid and resuscitation at another time.
  4. The course assessment seeks to establish the candidates understanding of the range of issues involved in working, or supervising employees in confined spaces in accordance with current legislation.
  5. The sessions are interactive and candidates will be expected to participate fully to obtain the maximum benefit from the course.
  6. All timings are indicative and although NETA will make every attempt to work to them, no guarantee is given.
