Practical exercises using the “Restricted Area Trainer”, including use of escape and self-contained breathing apparatus, winches and rescue equipment.

A number of practical exercises can be tailored to simulate the working environment of the delegates and the equipment that they normally have at their disposal.
A full rescue is included in this course
It is important that refresher training is organised and available on a regular basis, for example annually.
The frequency for which refresher training is provided will depend on how long since the type of work was last done.
Due to the nature of the course all delegates must be medically fit, and will be required to complete a written statement of health and fitness prior to commencement of the course.
