TRAINING OBJECTIVES
On completion of the course, delegates should be able to:
- Understand current legislation regarding confined space entry.
- Recognise types of confined space and their associated hazards.
- Organise and implement appropriate accident and emergency procedures.
STAFFING RATIO
The ratio of instructors to delegates: Theory: 1-10 / Practical: 1-10
MEASUREMENT OF ACHIEVEMENT
A certificate valid for a period of 3 years and identity card will be issued to the successful candidate after demonstrating his/her ability to carry out the whole course objectives during practical and theoretical; assessment.
PURPOSE
To enable participants to work safely in confined spaces.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Delegates should also be aware that due to the type of training involved clothes may become soiled, and it is therefore advisable to wear suitable protective clothing.
