Based at our Masons Road workshops, this course is designed for someone thinking about a career in the construction industry. It covers a variety of basic skills for a range of trades associated with the industry.

To Join the Course:
You will need good hand-eye co-ordination and a reasonable level of Mathematics and English.

· Handle and Store Materials and Components Remove and Replace Fittings and Fixtures Cut
· Lay and Fix Components · Mix Materials · Apply Finishing Materials · Setting Out

Assessment:
The emphasis for assessment is on a series of practical assignments. This is combined with written tests.

Duration 1 year full time

Progression Route A Level 2 course in a specific construction trade. Possibly an apprenticeship
