What will I study?
The level 3 Diploma is designed for candidates who would like to progress on and get into Junior Management at Craft Level e.g. charge-hand, foreperson, trade supervisor etc

How can I progress?
*Students can go onto an National Vocational Qualification level 3 if they get a job, *Further progression onto a BTEC National course in Construction is possible.

What will I need to qualify for this course?
In order to qualify for this course students will need; *To be sucessful at an informal interview with a member of staff, *An excellent reference either from School or an employer, *To agree to work to College and School and regulations, *A reasonable level of education (studied up to GCSE level), *To be in good health to enable them to achieve all units eg scaffolding which requires them to work at height,

Course Structure
These are the titles of the units you will study; *Store resources ready for use *Erect and dismantle working platforms *Contribute to efficient working practices *Provide temporary protection to work areas *Prepare surfaces for the application of decorative/protective finishes *Apply paint systems by brush and roller *Apply wall coverings to non-complex locations *Produce decorative speacialist paint finishes - basic *Maths *English *Information Technology *Tutorial *Practical *Theory Students are expected to provide their own pen, pencil, scale ruler, calculator, eraser, steel toe capped boots and overalls (if required).
