About this course
On this course, you will learn the theory and application of economics, finance and management in the context of large-scale construction projects. Our modules include construction economics, construction project management, development economics and planning, and real estate development and investment.
Graduates will be able to pursue roles in project and construction management consultancy, quantity surveying, or careers within construction companies, environmental agencies, local authorities and regeneration agencies.
This course is aimed at individuals with backgrounds in built environment, engineering and architecture who are looking for management and leadership positions within the construction, property and surveying practices industries.
It is also designed for mid-career professionals preparing to make the transition into the construction and property industry.
You should have an honours degree or equivalent qualification in a built environment discipline, such as civil engineering, construction, surveying or architecture. We will consider undergraduate degrees in other disciplines on an individual basis.
