Construction Management and Sustainable Practice - Bsc Hons (Lancaster University)

The Foundation Degree and top-up in Construction Management and Sustainable Practice is focused on those people that either wish to progress directly from a level 3 course of study, are currently in employment and want to enhance their career opportunities or those returning to education for the purpose of career progression.

The flexible delivery format addresses academic study whilst ensuring application of knowledge through work based learning, project based activities, distance and blended learning and traditional lectures. The modules have been designed with flexibility in mind allowing learners who may be required to work away from home are able to continue with their studies through distance learning (Appendix G). A key aim of the programme is to provide a widened participative opportunity for learners to gain a credible qualification whilst gaining momentum for future personal development within lifelong learning.

CON601 Project Management and Sustainable Practice 2 - 20 credits
CON602 Construction Law - 20 credits
CON603 Procurement and Construction Contract Strategies - 20 credits
CON604 Research and Professional Communication 2 - 20 credits
CON605 Dissertation or Project - 40 credits
