In course completion there is a variety of opportunities in construction industry and academia. In particular, the BSc graduates could work or pursue further study in areas such as site supervision, site management, project management, maintenance management and estates / facilities management, as well as postgraduate study in a relevant discipline.

Teaching/learning methods and strategies

Students will be taught through a series of lectures, tutorials, moderated discussions/debates and peer group support, as well as directed practical activity with dedicated online technical support.

Additionally, students will be required to conduct delf directed research and work based practical activity which can be assisted by the use of teaching packs, online technical indexes and the internet.

Assessment
