The NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety has been offered since 1989 and is established as a leading health and safety qualification for the construction industry, with over 8,000 successful candidates. The National Construction Certificate is designed for supervisors and managers within the construction industry and is designed to provide a sound breadth of underpinning knowledge that enables them to discharge more effectively their duties with respect to health and safety in  construction activities. The qualification is referenced within the Approved Code of Practice (ACoP) for Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 as a key knowledge indicator when assessing Stage 1 competence for CDM Co-ordinators.
