Course Description
The course will normally consist of you producuing a portfolio of work based eveidence in order for you to demonstrate your competence in the chosen vocational area.You will also be assessed in the work place, by our on site assessmnet team and also complete a multiple choice Health & Safety test (CSCS). You will need to complete 3 Mandatory units and 1 optional unit to complete your qualification.

Entry Requirements
4 GCSEs Grade D, incl. English. (Maths D for some courses). Or Pass in Level 1 Vocational Qual., Merit for BTECs, plus Key Skills Level 1 Comm. (App. of Number for some courses) or equivalent. Diplomas require Functional Skills in ICT, Maths and English.

• Conform to Efficient Work Practices
• Establish Work Area Protection and Safety
• Lay domestic Drainage
• Place and Finish Non-specilist Concrete

Attendance Modes: Day

Assessment: You will be assessed on each indivual unit, using a combination of Practical obsevation, underpinning knowlegde questions and portfolio building.

Progression Routes: You can continue your studies on a Level 2 0r 3 Vocational course, in a particular vocation or choose to persue employment.
