Course programme
How will I study?
Practical element include: Health & Safety, brickwork, blockwork, carpentry & joinery, painting & Decorating, plumbing and electrical, all these units will be backed up with theoretical knowledge. All our learners are expected to improve their current levels of English and Maths this may be either Functional skills or GCSE pending on your current level, these skills are to a successful career in the construction industry
How will I be taught?
Practical training is delivered by demonstration, drawings or sometimes written instructions. Theory is mainly delivered in a classroom environment but is also explored within the practical workshops. All learners preferred learning styles will be catered for.
How will I be assessed?
On going practical assessments and multiple choice question papers.
