The Programme
This is an entry level programme of up to 17 hours each week. All students will follow the College Foundation Programme and a Core Tutorial and Basic Skills Programme.
The Programme Content
The Core Tutorial and Basic Skills Programme will support the learning needs of individual students who follow this entry level programme. The course focuses on the vocational element of your choice, Tutorial, Basic Skills, IT, Communication, Numeracy, Careers, Job Search, Personal Development, and Study in Skills. There is an opportunity for individuals to do some work experience should they wish.
Progression / Careers
It is expected that some students will progress to one of the following: a further training programme, normally at Level 1, Entry to Employment, an Apprentice Framework, or enter into employment directly.
