The Distance Learning Continence Care course will help all staff gain a better understanding of what is involved in continence promotion and the care and management of incontinence.
The Continence Care course is divided into 6 comprehensive modules each concentrating on an important aspect of continence care in a care setting and will help staff gain a broad understanding of the subject area.
The course is carried out using a comprehensive blended learning resource pack which can be kept to record a staff members development in this area. Assessment is done by a multiple choice question paper and completion of workbook.

About this course
You do not need any prior learning knowledge or experience to take this course. This course is openly available to anyone who wishes to take part in a highly rewarding home study course, although you would be expected to have a reasonable standard of literacy.
You have the freedom to start the course at any time and continue your studies at your own pace for a period of up to 12 months from initial registration with the full support of your Tutor.

The certificate is gained by successfully completing a series of activities and assessments plus an end of course multiple choice exam (taken at home).
