Continuing Childcare: Health and Safety
This is part of a series of non-accredited continuing professional development courses for childcare workers looking to fulfil the CPD requirements of their position. An important aspect of your role is keeping the children you care for, your co-workers and yourself safe at all times. This course aims to give you a greater understanding of the kind of hazards and risks you may have to deal with. It then aims to make you more familiar with good practice in health and safety and dealing with incidents and emergencies. Throughout you are asked to find out what the policies and procedures are for your own setting, including the procedures for record-keeping and reporting.
