Contracts of Employment, Recruitment and Selection Course
In organisations today, we might consider the proposition that traditional contracts of employment were gradually being replaced by contracts for performance. Despite this change of emphasis, all those who are employed by another party have a contract of employment. This is a legal requirement and it sets out the basic rights and obligations of both the employer and the employee.
In this course, we review the increasing variety of contractual arrangements before examining the practice of recruitment (casting the net to find the people you need) and selection (deciding between alternative candidates) as well as doing some practical work on selection interviewing.
