Core Course A1/1

Core Course A1/1 uses Schritte International A1/1 as textbook and leads you to level A1/1 (breakthrough or beginner) according to the exact specifications of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Short texts and dialogues on interesting topics, entertaining photo-stories, audio texts, grammar overviews, cultural background information and a huge amount of interactive exercises offer you an effective and time-saving learning solution in a simple and up to date layout. Core Course A1/1 helps you to reach perfectly the speaking, reading, writing, grammar, listening and comprehension skills required for level A1/1 of CEFR.

Course Structure

The course is divided in 7 learning units which will be carried out by experienced native speaking German teachers in 21 lessons (via web conferencing) of 90 minutes each in virtual classrooms on our website. These German lessons will take place twice a week three months long.

Course Schedule

Course schedules are arranged on the basis of the average requests deriving from all student applications forms. Different timetables may be arranged for courses of the same language level depending on our students’ needs.

Course Fee

Course Fee is 266 € and it is calculated on the basis of 9,50 € per teaching hour (60 min.). Textbooks for personal use of participants are not included in the course price. They can be individually acquired in bookshops or online.

Additional Options

• Teacher's notes collected during every lesson in the virtual classroom are available after the finish of the lesson itself in your personal account area (My Account). This option is free of charge and available for the whole course.

• Lesson Recording gives you the opportunity to watch again every lesson held in the virtual classroom. Therefore you can study in depth pronunciation or recover missing lessons in the virtual classroom. This option is free of charge for the first learning unit, but it is available on demand for the whole course.

• Homework Revision & Feedback allows you to go on practicing German after classes on your personal account area (My Account). After each lesson in the virtual classroom you receive on your account area custom-made homework which must be delivered by a deadline. Your German teacher reads and corrects your homework within 24 hours sending you a personal feedback. In My Account you also have the opportunity to study together with your classmates in small workgroups, thus exchanging experiences and making friends. This option is free of charge for the first learning unit, but available on demand for the whole course.

• Language Tests gives you the opportunity to evaluate your learning progress. Before the course starts we offer every new student a written placement test. Further testing is available on demand during and at the end of the course.
